LiftMaster KPW5 Programming Instructions

Before performing any programming steps, ensure the Wireless Commercial Keypad is in programming mode. The keypad's backlight will remain illuminated when in programming mode. If an incorrect code is entered while in programming mode, an error tone will sound, but programming mode will remain active. If there is no activity for 60 seconds, the keypad will exit programming mode automatically.

To operate the Wireless Commercial Keypad, you will need the 6-digit Master Code, which prevents unauthorized system access. The factory default code is 888888, but it is recommended to change this to a unique code for security.

Important: An error tone will be triggered if you exceed the maximum number of PINs or attempt to program a PIN that is already stored in memory.

Programming to the Operator: Before programming the gate operator, both the Master Code and a PIN must be set.
